MS Announcement bar for Shopify

Announcement banners for your storefront, configured in Shopify Admin with a theme app embed (no merchants pasting URLs to install — use the flows below).

Get the app

  1. Installing: add the app from the Shopify App Store. Shopify installs the app on your shop and completes OAuth—you do not need to enter a .myshopify.com URL as part of that flow.
  2. After install: open Settings → Apps and sales channels( or Apps in admin, depending on your admin version) and launch MS Announcement bar from there.

This page intentionally does not ask for your shop URL. Merchant support for edge cases may use the admin login route only when Shopify or your documentation directs you there.

  • Theme app extension. Activate the app embed in the theme editor; onboarding in the embedded app walks you through it.
  • Flexible content. Layouts, scheduling, geo and page targeting—in line with what you configure in Admin.
  • Merchant-owned data. Bar configuration is stored on your shop via Shopify-managed app data (metaobjects and metafields).
